The Island Aquarium and its Aqua-Science Day

If your child would like to learn more about the shoreline of environment and its characteristics, about how different species feed themselves from the sea, different resources available in coastal areas, or even about the importance of conservation and highlighting coastal fauna and habitat, register them for the Aqua-Science Day at the Island Aquarium.

Aqua-Science day is a day devoted to discovering the sea and the coast where children from 6 - 12 years old will be introduced to exploring the shores to discover the plants and animals that live there as well as how to preserve them.

Activities take place from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Tuesdays for 9 - 12 year olds and on Thursdays for 6 - 8 year olds.

We suggest you reserve your spot ahead of time by calling (418) 937 - 2277.

This activity won recognition for the Island Aquarium in February 1999, when they won the responsible and long-lasting development prize from the "Grands Prix du Tourisme Québécois - Laureat regional".
