The Island Aquarium, it's a must see!

The sea is full of life. From algae invisible to the naked eye to large seaweed, from the simplest of animals to the most complex that the mind can imagine, the sea holds an abundance of surprises.

At the Aquarium, you'll see sponges, anemones, jellyfish, starfish, sea cucumbers, sea urchins as well as mollusks and crustaceans, such as: periwinkles, sea urchins, pelican's foot snail, noon snails, mussels, scallops, clams, sea knives, crab, lobster, and hermit crabs.

Let yourself sway to rhythm of the sea, and discover a large variety of fish including, cod, atlantic sea ravens, sculpins, plaice, halibut, lumpfish, skates and sharks.

To top everything off, every year we have the pleasure of welcoming two Greenland seals for a visit.
