Salt box rentals
on the historic site of the "Grave"

Havre-Aubert, Iles-de-la-Madeleine, Quebec, Canada

We are pleased to offer two charming dwellings fashioned after the "salt box" of old, erected on the site where fishermen spent their nights during the Spring seasons more than 50 years ago. The houses are compact, square and solid, topped with pointed rooftops featuring exposed beams, and are constructed from wood and cedar shingles. Rustic in appearance, they are fully equipped with modern amenities: running water, electric heating, and a wood stove. The houses can be occupied year-round.

Bonjour Jacques!
We had a fabulous time on the islands this summer despite our lack of french language. It was beautiful and relaxing. We would like to book two weeks in the Sarcelle next July.
Look forward to hearing from you.
Steve and Adelle Densham
